Six lessons, one per tab.

Short ones. Every tool in the panel is a single press — these are just the ones worth knowing the order of.

Walk through the panel

Arrange

Lay a selection across the timeline

  1. Select the clips you want in the Project panel.
  2. Open the Arrange tab.
  3. Hit Spread to Tracks — each clip lands end to end on its own track.
  4. Changed your mind? Collapse to One Track gathers them back onto V1.

Eight angles stacked and ready to synchronise, without dragging one of them.

Arrange

Mark the span you are working on

  1. Park the playhead where the section starts.
  2. Click Range Marker.
  3. The marker draws across the ruler so the stretch you are grading stays obvious.

A visible working range instead of counting timecodes.

Build

Nest and unnest without losing your trims

  1. Select the clips on the timeline.
  2. Nest Selected Clips folds them into one sequence.
  3. Unnest Selected Clips puts every clip back where it was, then deletes the nest.

Trims and effects intact, and one press of undo.

Build

Drop an adjustment layer exactly on the cut

  1. Park the playhead near the join. It does not have to be exact.
  2. Click Adjustment Layer on Cut.
  3. The layer lands centred on the cut, half on each side, at the length set in Settings.

A transition effect that sits evenly across the join.

Curves

Put real easing on a move

  1. Select the clips carrying the keyframes.
  2. Open Curves and pick a shape — the picture on the button is the motion you get.
  3. Ease In Out for most moves, Hold when you want a hard snap.

Motion that accelerates instead of sliding at one speed.

Motion

Pin a title to something moving

  1. Set an Aim Point on the thing you want followed.
  2. Press Track and let it read the shot.
  3. Attach whatever you want carried along — a title, a blur, a logo.
  4. Stabilize instead if you want the shot held still rather than followed.

A label that rides with the subject for the whole shot.
